BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, is a seven-member South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment. They debuted on the 13th of June 2013 as an all hip hop boyband. The group is made up by Jin-the eldest, Rap Monster-the leader, Suga-lead rapper, J-Hope-lead rapper and dancer, Jimin-lead dancer, V- lead vocalist and Jungkook- the youngest of the group.
BTS are the 1st ever group to have been invited to the American Billboard Awards, and not only that, but the 1st to recive an award for in the genre K-pop. On May 21st, they recieved the Top Social Artist Award, with awar more than 320mil votes.
They currently top the Billboard Social 50, spending 31 weeks on the chart. They are now on a sold-out world tour, with US concerts this past March and April in Newark, Chicago and Anaheim. Their next stops are in Australia and Japan.
